PR Persons: They’re usually a third-party representative who handles the brand’s image and public relations. They’re your contact for events or Press Trips and can be instrumental in helping you form long-term partnerships with large brands.
Marketing Managers: They’re the strategists behind the brand’s promotional efforts. While they do manage budgets for marketing collaborations, they’re also open to sponsorships that align with their campaigns and objectives.
Sales Representatives: They’re the deal closers, focused on sales and bookings. While they may not directly handle sponsorships, they can offer insights into promotional rates and deals that could be beneficial for your content.
So, who should you pitch to? It’s not a one-size-fits-all.
Depending on your content and the type of collaboration you’re seeking, any of these contacts could be your key to success. It’s about matching your pitch to the right role within the brand.
By understanding the nuances of each role, you’ll enhance your chances of getting a response and developing a mutually beneficial partnership with the travel brand.
Remember, it’s not just about writing a pitch; it’s about sending the right pitch to the right person.
