Hey there, travelpreneur!
We’re coming up on the end of this pitching series - the final tip (#8) will hit your inbox next week along with all the info about my latest product - Pitch Alchemy!
Pitch Alchemy dives deep into the behind-the-scenes work of pitching (aka the prep work). Inside I guide you through uncovering your unique value proposition (UVP), finding your best assets to leverage, doing in-depth research about a brand/hotel using my personal Brand Alignment Evaluation, and how to put it all together so that you can create a pitch that makes brands/hotels say “YES!”
Pitch Alchemy will be available at a special early bird price (under $100) for a limited time and then will be priced at over $200 after the promotion ends. So, if you’re interested, keep an eye out for the launch email next week!
Since I’m working hard to finish up the final pieces of this course plus the bonuses, there is no new published piece but I do have another tip ready for you…
Post Pandemic Pitching Tip #7 (PPPT#7)
Today, I'm here to spill the beans on one of my top tips for landing sponsorships with hotels and travel brands: PR agents are your best friends!
I know what you're thinking - PR agents, really?
But trust me, they can be a game-changer in your quest for collaborations and sponsorships.
Think about it - PR agents are the ones responsible for getting their clients exposure in the press. They're experts in their field, and they can be your ticket to getting noticed and landing those dream sponsorships - repeatedly!
When you connect with PR agents for travel brands or hotels, you're tapping into a goldmine of opportunities.
They are the decision-makers when it comes to choosing which creators to collaborate with, and they often have a pool of resources and connections to make things happen. They know the value of a win-win partnership and are more likely to understand your needs as a content creator.
The best part?
If you establish a good working relationship with PR agents (hint: be professional and over-deliver), they can become your go-to source for future opportunities.
In fact, some of my best sponsorships and press trips have come from PR agents. Building rapport and trust with them can open doors to exciting collaborations and amazing experiences. So, nurture these relationships!
Don't be afraid to reach out to PR agents for travel brands or hotels. Show them your professionalism, creativity, and passion for travel, and you might just land yourself some amazing collaborations.

Interesting Reads... 📰
👉 Once again I want to highlight this series of posts written by Lauren Razavi of
& Marko Ayling of . Last week I linked to part 1 but Marko has responded to Lauren with part 2 and I urge you to read it! The ability to work and travel has fundamentally changed our world and we need to consider both the benefits AND the consequences. As Marko states:“Destinations will benefit from these changes only if they can channel nomad immigration into something longer-lasting—namely education and job training for future-facing industries so that the next generation of locals can perhaps join nomads.”
