I was hastily wrapping up client work and other tasks before heading off on a road trip (the first one with two kids 😬) to Cape Town.
I’m happy to report that all went well on the actual road trip - no screaming, just singing, and no 🤮 - which I count as a win. I didn’t even need the extra change of car clothes I packed for me and the kids 😎.
We spent a few days working with a local property. Took my baby girl to see a specialist (she’s okay but will need to undergo some procedures in the next few months 😥). And took our toddler to see dinosaur skeletons at Iziko Museum - 10/10 recommend if you’re in Cape Town, it’s raining, and have a dino-loving toddler 🐱🐉
But now I’m back to work (on a super exciting project… see the PS below and keep an eye on your inbox this week). And I’m feeling excited to add the property I worked with and the museum to my Cape Town travel guides on the blog.
