Hey there, travelpreneur!
*Make sure to check out my announcement in the Good Stuff section*
I’m back to continue our series on monetizing your travel blog or biz with affiliate marketing.
I was originally going to focus on the question of traffic when it comes to affiliate monetization techniques this week but decided to back up a bit and give you an overview of all the different places you can actually promote your affiliate offers.
Your blog isn’t your only option, I promise.
This is good news for you if you’re still building up your traffic.
So, let’s dive right into it:
Where to Promote “Evergreen” Offers (offers that are always available):
On a resources page (either on your website or a separate location).
Text links in blog posts.
Product review blog posts.
Case study blog post.
Your sidebar.
Text or image links inside your opt-in incentives (freebies).
As an appendix with additional resources in your opt-in incentives (freebies).
On your YouTube channel.
Social media; especially Pinterest.
In your email autoresponders or automated follow-up sequences.
Within your paid products (courses, eBooks, etc).
On your podcast.
Where to Promote Time-Sensitive Offers (only valid for a short time):
Promotional broadcast emails to your subscriber list.
Social media (Facebook Groups, Twitter, LinkedIn).
One-to-one conversations or recommendations to your clients or colleagues.
Paid advertising (although this is an advanced strategy).

The Good Stuff 🔥
👉 The travel industry is popping 🎉 right now (hallelujah) and each week I curate way more paid opportunities, remote jobs & Press Trip call-outs than I could possibly fit in this newsletter.
So, I’m starting a Wildly Successful Travelpreneurs Membership site that will consist of:
Immediate notifications (so that you can be the first to apply) and links to exciting paid opportunities, remote jobs & Press Trip leads (those I share here + all the ones I don’t have space to share here).
Member directory and member matching for collaborations.
Weekly office hours (voice) events where you can ask me anything.
Exclusive content & resources (pitching templates, eBooks, pitching guides, etc).
Monthly pitching (publications/travel brands) challenges & accountability.
Community discussion & collaboration spaces.
The membership will officially launch on 1 July 2022, but I’m looking for beta testers to try out the platform, and provide me with feedback & a testimonial.
If you’re selected as a beta tester, you’ll get a free month of access (June) plus some special bonuses as a thank you.
